Ways to Give

There are many ways of giving to NCIRE:

Annual Gifts

These gifts sustain NCIRE, allowing our researchers to work on the cutting edge of veterans’ health research. Annual gifts provide NCIRE with the flexibility to cover the costs of research activities that would not be funded by other revenue sources.

Major Gifts

Your contribution of $10,000 or more will support current research by NCIRE investigators in several key areas, including post-traumatic stress disorder, brain trauma, neurodegenerative disease, cancer, and heart disease.

Tribute and Memorial Gifts

Special occasion gifts can be made in memory of a friend or loved one, or for special occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries.

Planned Gifts

Gifts that are planned endure. To make a planned gift, first talk to your professional advisor about the appropriate instrument that meets your personal needs. For example, it is easy to name NCIRE as the recipient of a retirement account or the beneficiary of a life insurance policy.

Gifts that Provide Income

Gifts that provide income during your lifetime include charitable remainder trusts or pooled income investment funds that can be strategically funded with appreciated property, such as real estate or securities, and a portion of the trust assets provide you with income. These gift vehicles may offer significant tax advantages.
