Welcome to Challenge Failure 2015
Lodi, California’s 5th Annual Challenge Failure Race for Heart Failure Research 5K & 10K Walk/Run will take place on Saturday, May 2nd. Yes, the fifth Challenge Failure Race — I can’t believe it!
Challenge Failure’s success in raising funds and awareness for heart failure research is measured in the overwhelming support and growing participation of the runners, walkers, the hundreds of people who continue to pledge their support for the participants, and our generous business sponsors. There’s no doubt in my heart that they all understand the critical nature of the research supported by NCIRE – The Veterans Health Research Institute. They know this is about advancing Veterans health through research and about caring for the people we know and love.
However, we are not satisfied to simply maintain the success of Challenge Failure, we are determined to grow and increase its impact. This May, we are expecting 700 runners and walkers. Our goal this year is to raise $50,000. As with previous Challenge Failure Races, 100% of the race fees, sponsorship contributions, and donations will go directly to NCIRE in support of heart failure research.
In 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014, we exceeded our participation and fundraising goals. With your support and contributions, I know we will achieve the same in 2015—rain or shine. You will find all the event details you need here. To contact event organizers, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
On your mark, get set, go!
